Amina is interested in the ways we care for all our relations in spatial design practice and pedagogy. She is a mixed Vietnamese-Irish-Métis designer, artist, and educator teaching at the Laurentian University McEwen School of Architecture and she is also pursuing a Master's of Indigenous Land-Based Education.

Together we will practice close observation, tracing the tracks and signs left behind by our other-than-human kin, and collective approaches to creatively mapping inter-species relationships.
Meet at the Brickworks, shuttle bus stop (take the 9:45am shuttle bus from broadview station)

- Please come prepared to be outdoors for the duration of the workshop, rain or shine, including approximately 1.5 hours of walking. We recommend bringing a water bottle, hat, rain coat, comfortable walking/hiking shoes, insect repellent, and whatever else you need. Long pants are recommended to avoid scratches and ticks.
- Please bring a personal notebook/sketchbook and writing utensil.
- Public washrooms and water fountains are available on site.
- We will provide a light lunch. Please feel free to bring your own packed lunch or snacks to share as well.

optional note: the facilitators will be there early from 7am - 9:30am to scout for tracks and signs in preparation for the workshop. Participants are also welcome to join - please contact us if you wish to do so. Note that if you come early, you should come prepared with your own nourishment for breakfast! There are no shuttle buses running before 7:45am.
